Ian Okundi
Executive Chairman & Chief Technology Officer
Ian Okundi founded StanMed and leads the platform’s technology, digital health and healthcare infrastructure architecture. He brings more than 22 years of technology experience, including exposure to major industrial and technology environments such as XOM and Siemens.
His role is to ensure that StanMed’s technology, systems architecture and HealthNET operating layer support accountable care, operational transparency and responsible digital health deployment.

StanMed is being built around a leadership model that combines hospital operations, clinical governance, payor relationships, digital health architecture and disciplined execution.
Adelaide Odhiambo
Group Payor Lead
Adelaide Odhiambo is an actuary by training and serves as StanMed’s Group Payor Lead. She brings more than 20 years of payor, insurance and actuarial experience, with prior experience at Jubilee Insurance, APA Insurance and AIG Asia Pacific.
Her role focuses on insurer relationships, payor strategy, managed-care pathways, claims discipline and scalable reimbursement relationships across StanMed’s hospital, diagnostics and digital health platform.
Mathenge Rukwaro
Chief Financial Officer
Mathenge Rukwaro serves as StanMed’s Chief Financial Officer. He is a strategic, operationally focused finance leader with more than 25 years of local, regional and international experience across healthcare, consulting and corporate finance.
His experience includes CFO leadership at Avenue Healthcare, CEO leadership at Meridian Health Group, fractional CFO work with Qualcare Africa and advisory work with IFC’s Africa Medical Equipment Fund. At StanMed, he leads financial discipline, capital planning, treasury, risk management, controls and investor-ready reporting.
Dr Angela Kiraba
StanMed Hospital Riara Chief Executive Officer
Dr Angela Kiraba is the proposed Chief Executive Officer for StanMed Hospital Riara. She brings more than 17 years of healthcare leadership experience across hospital management, clinical governance and institutional healthcare operations, with prior experience at Roche and Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
Her role focuses on hospital readiness, clinical operating discipline, patient safety, specialist coordination and the controlled launch of StanMed Hospital Riara as a diagnostics-led specialist hospital.

StanMed’s first flagship hospital is planned for Nairobi, Kenya, with phased activation built around advanced diagnostics, ambulatory care, theatre capability and connected digital infrastructure.
